Chromatic Music is a record label and publishing company founded by my friend Tofer Brown in Nashville, Tennessee. He approached me to develop branding that would evoke a sense of nostalgia, inspired mostly by vintage production company logos. After several rounds of exploration, we landed on this final mark: seven ascending bars representing the seven white notes of the chromatic scale—a clean, symbolic nod to the brand’s musical ethos.
